Unlikely Harmonies: Art is …

A collection of 23 paintings realized in acrylic and oil on canvas mixed with small sculptures in silk that give the paintings a three-dimensional aspect. The collection expresses the trial of bringing a three-dimensional structure of the painting enriching it with textiles, colors and shapes that seem to come out of the painting at the search of a lost or unknown dimension creating “Unlikely harmonies“. The silk used comes from San Leucio. San Leucio is a village of the province of Caserta that from the times of the Burbon Kings is known for its silk production, famous and treasured in the whole world.

The collection has been painted in Zurich in 2011.
